and in a mechanical fantasy beach arcade,
a cavern lit by fetching percussion
blinking in the darkness of meandering events
tinted by someone else's tragedy and
tempered by the piano triplets of
Little Richard, Etta James,
Sonny Till and the Orioles,
full of enchantment I thought would be free
